WHAT CAN YOU DO TO PROTECTING THE ENVIRONMENT ?
At Masaison, the environmental protection is one of our founding values. More than just a cause, it's a real commitment. source of motivation to link two of our objectives: to provide cosmetic care that adapts to the needs of our skin and the environment. So it's no secret that global warming is having a dangerous impact on our planet. But what can you do at home to take action? Discover simple ideas and reflexes to preserve our planet and that of future generations.
7 EVERYDAY WAYS TO PROTECT OUR ENVIRONMENT :
- Choose low-temperature detergents : That's right! Low temperature means less energy consumption and don't worry, even the most stubborn stains won't resist at 30°.
- Buying in bulk : For fruit and vegetables, you only need a bag or net to transport them. If you're determined to go one step further, you can even buy your pasta, rice and flour in bulk! Reusable bags are usually available in shop.
- Stop using plastic : We know it sounds logical, but plastic is everywhere and is a real scourge. So, for example, opt for water bottles to replace bottles, use reusable cotton bags, wooden toothbrushes, eco-friendly clothes pegs and, for those of you with small stomachs, when you go out to eat, think about taking a glass box to take the surplus food home with you.
- Say STOP to pubs : Admit it, there are so many of them that we don't even bother leafing through them any more! All you have to do is put a STOP PUB on your letterbox, which can be downloaded from the website of the French Ministry for Ecological Transition.
- Go for second-hand goods : As well as having a positive impact on our planet (the fashion industry is one of the most polluting in the world), you can find some real nuggets at better prices! This way you preserve the longevity of the item and prevent waste.
- Keep your IT equipment as long as possible : We all know that you've been eyeing up the latest IPhone or the latest full-option tablet. But consider that moving from 2 years to 3 or 4 years of use of your electronic devices improves their environmental balance by 50 %, thus avoiding over-consumption and digital pollution.
- Make your own household products: Did you know that you can make almost anything yourself? Believe us, it's not only good for the environment, it's good for your wallet too. Check out a few recipes below.
